Coping with Change

When my job moved overseas, I had to adapt fast. As a single mother, facing repeated economic downturns and a child with cancer, I found that short-term contract work was my best option, so I learned how to succeed in constant change.

Attract opportunity

By solving problems and delivering results, I built a reputation that kept work coming to me. I did not have to chase opportunities. I created a system that attracted new jobs as needed. (I created the R+ TOOLKIT.)

Thrive in real world

By day, I worked as a network engineer and program manager. By night, I listened and mentored people facing career and life challenges. People were draw to my practical approach because it worked in the real world, even in difficult times. (CAREER CATALYST course).

Overcome obstacles

We learned how to use clear language to show our value, attract the right opportunities, and support the people facing different challenges (deaf, blind, little English, not much education). Over time, we faced real difficulties—job changes, divorce, raising children, caregiving for cancer and Alzheimer’s, and unplanned retirement. Through it all, we learned how to stay calm, confident, and effective. (GET UNSTUCK workshop.)

Cope with change

Later, during more than a decade at an international aerospace company, I led multi-million-dollar workforce training programs and received an HR Excellence Award. As the company faced closures, layoffs, and reorganization, I initiated a Coping with Change employee engagement group that grew across departments and states. Along the way, I was introduced to tools like Cynefin and the Iceberg Mental Model, which my Director asked me to lead at Annual All-team workshop across the nation. (CLEAR PATH program.)

Share with others

Now, these insights are here to help you meet the real-life opportunities you face. This program is practical and focused. No busy work. No filler.

No fluff.
Just clear steps to bring opportunities to you, your family and team.
